Yes, they’re both finished. The proof:

I’m very happy with them. They fit very well, are comfortable, and look nice on. They were also fun to knit. The only modification I made to the pattern was to not knit the last few rounds of straight knitting with decreases. By the time I got to that point in the pattern, they were long enough. And actually, I find that a slightly wider toe fits my foot better than a really tapered one.
I loved working with this yarn, too. It was easy to knit with, and after wet blocking it softened up very nicely. It shows off the twisted cable stitches very well. The subtle colour variations add depth to the pattern without distracting from the stitches, which are the star of the show in these socks.
Pattern: Baroque by Janice Kang, from the Fall 2008 issue of Knitty (Ravelry link)
Yarn: a one-off colour of Jennifer’s FlockSock Sock Yarn from Holiday Yarns
Needle size: 2.25 mm

Wow, those look so pretty and comfy! They’ve been in my queue forever, I need to find some yarn as fabulous as this to make them in!
Thanks! I recommend the pattern, and the yarn I used – I was very happy with them both!
